EEA2 Processing time

I was wondering to share my experiences with you .

I'm European , but my husband is a non - European (US)citizen.

We applied for EEA2 residence card for him ~ 5 months ago and still no result.

We sent the application on

1th of June

HO received on

2th of June

We received his Certificate of Application on

23th of June

.. then .. waiting and waiting for the post.

It's 21th Oct Today.

Hopefully our passport coming soon, because it's so difficult to do any thing without ID.

My husband cannot find job without his passport. He can't apply for NI number without passport and so on. I'm working 2-3 days a week, sometimes just 1 day (weekly 100-130 £ ). That means we are trying to survive these months. Our rent costs 490 pcm.

Dear Home Office, how can I (eu citizen) find job without IDs? I'm living in the UK since 1999 and I never had so hard days in the last decade as now.

Our life turned to nightmare since we sent our passports.

We are really waiting for our passports and my wife residence card. Fingers crossed.

Where are the freedom and human rights?
